PreludeWhen I Survey the Wondrous Cross, arr. Pethel – Melanie Manges

Welcome to Worship Len Wilson

Gathering Song “Sanctuary”

Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary,
Pure and holy, tried and true;
With thanksgiving,
I’ll be a living sanctuary for you. (Repeat)

Call to Worship (inspired by Psalm 107, written by Bruce Prewer) – Len Wilson

O give thanks to our God who is good,
whose saving love endures forever.
Let those who are redeemed by God declare it,
rescued from trouble and gathered from many lands;
From the east and from the west,
from the north and from the south,
give thanks to God who is always good!

Hymn of Praise“For the Beauty of the Earth”

(Verse 1) For the beauty of the earth, for the glory of the skies,
For the love which from our birth over and around us lies,
Lord of all, to thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

(Verse 3) For the joy of human love, brother, sister, parent, child,
Friends on earth and friends above; for all gentle thoughts and mild,
Lord of all, to thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

(Verse 4) For the church that evermore lifteth holy hands above,
Offering up on every shore her pure sacrifice of love,
Lord of all, to thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

Invitation to Prayer Len Wilson

“Children of the Heavenly Father” arr. Hughes

Pastoral Prayer & The Lord’s Prayer Len WIlson

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name,
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
 as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Special Music – “How Firm a Foundation” by Rippon – Orff Ensemble

SermonMore than Enough – Exodus 36:2-6 – Rev. Soozi Whitten Ford

Hymn of Thanksgiving “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross”

(Verse 1) When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss,
And pour contempt on all my pride.

(Verse 3) See, from his head, his hands, his feet,
Sorrow and love flow mingled down, Did e’er such love and sorrow meet,
Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

(Verse 4) Were the whole realm of nature mine,
That were an offering far too small;
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all.

Offering – Rev. Ford

Almighty God, giver of every good and perfect gift,
Teach us to give to you all that we have and all that we are,
That we might praise you not with our words only,
But with our whole lives. Amen.

Offertory “Take Time to Be Holy” arr. by Whitman
