It’s fun, it’s free, and its just around the corner in downtown Lafayette! Artists and viewers of all ages are invited to participate in the 16th annual Sidewalk Chalk Festival, presented by The Friends of the Education Building Inc. and First Baptist Church of Lafayette! Meet us on the corner of 7th & North for this free, outdoor, family-friendly outing, which attracts over 200 artists and spectators every year.
Sidewalk chalking will begin Friday, September 15, and continue through Saturday, September 16. Spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis each day, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Artists of all ages and experience are welcome!
