About this Sermon |

Mark 5: 21-43 tells two stories – one interrupting the other- of healing. These healing stories are meant to be read together, and showcase that Jesus is no respecter of cultural and social propriety- this Good News is truly for everyone. What does it mean that the Good News can heal? What did it mean for the people who encountered Jesus in the history we find recorded in pages of Scripture?  And what does it mean for us?  How might we be healed by the Good News?
