First Baptist Church, in partnership with the Centennial Neighborhood, is planning a community garden on their property located at 415 N. 7th St. Lafayette, IN. First Baptist won a grant from the American Baptist Churches of IN & KY to purchase top soil and construct raised garden beds for this project. Guest harpist Melissa Gallant will be with us on December 21st (the Sunday before Christmas) during our Sunday morning worship service. Come worship with us and enjoy some beautiful harp music.
On December 17th at 6:30 PM we will meet together in the fellowship hall, and then go caroling in the neighborhood around the church. After caroling in the neighborhood, we will enjoy some refreshments and warm up in the fellowship hall. Then, we will go caroling with a couple shut-ins.
Sunday December 14th our choir will perform their Christmas Cantata during our worship service, which begins at the regular 9:30 am time. Then, at 11:00 am we will share a meal together in the fellowship hall.
