Prelude – “Andante in A Minor” Handel – Melanie Manges, harpsichord

Welcome to Worship – Len Wilson

Lenten Song “I Come to the Cross” – Worship Team

I come to the cross seeking mercy and grace;
I come to the cross where you died in my place.
Out of my weakness and into your strength;
Humbly I come to the cross.

Call to Worship* – Len Wilson

Again and again,
We come to this space, and to this time.
Again and again,
We gather as a community.
Again and again,
We move closer to God. And again and again,
God is here.
We are met.
We are heard.
We are shown the way.
So again and again,
Let us worship holy God.

Hymn of Faith – “Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah”

(Verse 1) Guide me, O thou great Jehovah, pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but thou art mighty- hold me with thy powerful hand:
Bread of heaven, Bread of heaven, feed me till I want no more (want no more),
Feed me till I want no more.

(Verse 2) Open now the crystal fountain, whence the healing stream doth flow;
Let the fire and cloudy pillar lead me all my journey through:
Strong Deliverer, strong deliverer, be thou still my strength and shield (strength and shield),
Be thou still my strength and shield.

Lenten Song, Again – “I Come to the Cross” – Worship Team

I come to the cross seeking mercy and grace;
I come to the cross where you died in my place.
Out of my weakness and into your strength;
Humbly I come to the cross.
Your arms are open, you call me by name, you welcome this child that was lost.
You paid the price for my guilt and my shame;
Jesus, I come, Jesus, I come, Jesus, I come to the cross.

Hymn of Discipleship – “Grace Greater than our Sin”

(Verse 1) Marvelous grace of our loving Lord, grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt,
yonder on Calvary’s mount outpoured, there where the blood of the Lamb was split.

(Refrain) Grace, grace, God’s grace (marvelous grace, infinite grace)
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within;
Grace, grace, God’s grace (marvelous grace, infinite grace),
Grace that is greater than all our sin.

(Verse 3) Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace, freely bestowed on all who believe:
You that are longing to see his face, will you this moment his grace receive?

(Refrain) Grace, grace, God’s grace (marvelous grace, infinite grace)
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within;
Grace, grace, God’s grace (marvelous grace, infinite grace),
Grace that is greater than all our sin.

Pastoral Prayer & The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name,
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Offering Rev. Hood

Almighty God, giver of every good and perfect gift,
Teach us to give to you all that we have and all that we are,
That we might praise you not with our words only,
But with our whole lives. Amen.

Offertory – “In Death’s Strong Grasp the Savior Lay” Telemann – Melanie Manges, organ
