As Baptists, it is our belief that we should all have the opportunity to discover and use the gifts bestowed on us through the power of Holy Spirit. Whether that translates into teaching a Sunday School class, greeting people as they enter worship, picking up groceries for someone who is unable to leave their home, or sharing one’s talents for music, drama, technology, cooking, writing, numbers or administration, we know there is a rich and wide diversity of gifts of the Spirit among us. We think that discovering our gifts and then using them in the service of the church is all a part of the process of growing to know Christ more fully. When we don’t allow one another the space to explore the gifts of the Spirit, the whole church misses out on the richness and fullness of what it means to be the body of Christ. Whatever you feel you have to offer God for service, whether internally or externally, we want to give you the opportunity to respond to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
