First Baptist church lit the third candle of Advent in its worship on December 13, 2015. The Rev. Dr. Gary Reif, Transitional Pastor delivered a sermon entitled “Old Words for a New Age: Joy” based on the scriptures Psalm 67 (read by Dr. Rod Zambrows) and Luke 2:8-11. The Choir led the congregation in singing “Sing Joy” arranged by Mark Hayes. The “Preparation for Worship reading printed at the top of the bulletin was —
