Sunday, March 22 there will be a special service presented by Dr. Stuart B. Jones. He will be reading a chapter out of his book “For the Love of Stephen.” The book is about Stuart’s older brother, Stephen, and the challenges and disabilities he faced. Chapter: God Don’t Make No Junk.
First Baptist played a big part in that chapter, in that in the 70’s, a Sunday school class, BYKOTA (Be Yee Kind One to Another) was created
for special needs kids in the city. Stephen was a founding member.
After the service, please join us in Fellowship Hall for refreshments, old pictures to reminisce, and a Q&A with the author.
